I am so f*cking pissed off with the majority of the Chris Brown supporters being women! Why are we continuously so accepting of this behavior in men? Granted, we do not know what Rhianna may or may not have done to aggravate him or provoke the situation, or if she were ever violent towards CB. BUT…the bottom line is that he hit a woman AND HE GOT CAUGHT! He made the choice to take their personal business and put it all up and through the streets, not her. Up until that infamous night and unauthorized photo release, none of us on the outside looking in had the slightest clue that physical abuse was ever present in this highly publicized relationship. How did it sneak past us? Or were some of us women (as usual) ignoring our better instincts and intuitions, and good damn common sense that the good Lord gave us and just letting it go? We learn as children not to hit others. This unwritten rule of the toddler world just doesn’t cease to exist once we hit puberty. Throughout life, we are supposed to do unto others (you should know the rest)… or is that just me? And whether it is mentally, emotionally, or even environmentally instilled within us that this behavior is acceptable on some level – it is not! So you can buy his records, fantasize of, and salivate endlessly over the light-skinned R&B/Pop star if you must, but please do not excuse his actions or the fact that he may need some serious psychological evaluation, help, and possibly medication if that is what it takes to re-work his inner thoughts to reflect those of a real man. No one is perfect, but damn ladies, let’s get some love and respect for ourselves, daughters, sisters, mothers, cousins, aunts, etc… And yeah, I bet the outcome would have been slightly different if Rhianna and Chris’ fornication (glimpses of which can be Googled for viewing) had resulted in the birth of a little RiRi or Chris, but sadly, he undoubtedly would be a free man…
